Steven Oliver

Steven Oliver is a descendant of the Kuku-Yalanji, Waanyi, Gangalidda, Woppaburra, Bundjalung and Biripi peoples. He became notorious with ABC’s Logie nominated series Black Comedy as a writer/actor/associate producer, where his creations ‘The Tiddas’ saw him earn a nomination for FAVOURITE COMEDY PERFORMER OF THE DECADE in the 2020 AACTA’s.

 

Steven’s other credits include the AIDC best documentary award winner Looky Looky Here Comes Cooky (writer/director), game show Faboriginal (creator/writer), and the musical web series A Chance Affair (creator/writer), which features Steven's original music. In addition to his acclaimed theatre productions

Proppa Solid, From Darkness and his one-man cabaret show Bigger & Blacker.

 

An accomplished playwright, songwriter, writer, performer, poet, ambassador, MC, moderator, keynote speaker (or as he would say, big-note speaker), Steven is excited to be working with the No Coincidence Media team as a concept writer.
